I am studying about Honest Abe also known as Abraham Lincoln. Here are a few facts about him.

1. Lincoln was well liked and admired by his friends. He was known to be a very caring person.
2. When Lincoln was around the age of 19, he went on a trip to New Orleans, Louisiana ,where he came face to face for the first time with slavery. New Orleans was a big slave market,and he spent some time there.
3. When Abe’s mom died, his sister Sarah took care of him until he remarried. Abe really loved his step-mom and she also loved him.
